Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at BHOM Student Living. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for marketing and leasing apartments, providing exceptional resident services, and contributing to the overall success of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by adhering to our BHOM Living Playbook
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Show model units and common areas to prospective residents
  • Lease apartments and promote our property's products and services
  • Assist with online applications and respond to internet leads
  • Work to optimize occupancy and maximize leased rent
  • Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and achieve budgeted occupancy percentages
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition
  • Assist with market surveys and collect deposits and fees associated with move-in
  • Prepare and maintain accurate lease-related paperwork
  • Inspect units on a quarterly basis and prior to move-in
  • Assist with resident events and the move-out process
  • Audit lease and renewal files for key controls and bonus submission
Requirements
  • Ability to read and write English fluently
  • Ability to perform basic to intermediate math
  • Computer literacy required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Environment

The work environment is light in physical demand, requiring the ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach forward and overhead, and grasp. Occasional bending, crouching, or stooping may be required. The ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and push and pull up to 50 lbs. with mechanical assistance is also necessary. Close and distance vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus, are required.
