Job Title: Travel Services Greeter

Air General, a leading provider of air cargo and ocean cargo handling services, is seeking a skilled Travel Services Greeter to join our team at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service to travelers, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from check-in to departure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a positive and personalized experience to passengers, providing assistance with check-in, ticketing, and baggage handling.
  • Utilize industry-standard software to manage reservations, issue boarding passes, and process payments.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing clear and concise information about their flights and travel arrangements.
  • Collaborate with our internal team to ensure accurate processing of passenger information and timely flight departures.
  • Respond to passenger inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Baggage Service Office to track and resolve baggage-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security background checks.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid airport ID badge.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
  • Must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Additional Information:
  • This is a part-time, variable, and event-based position, with a base rate of $82.00 per 3-hour event.
  • The number of assignments may vary from week to week.
