Overview

Concentra, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a skilled Float Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients across various locations in California. As a Float Physical Therapist, you will be an integral part of our patient care team, working closely with Concentra Medical Centers' Injury Process Management and rehabilitation philosophy.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care services, ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients.
  • Perform direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment of muscle, skeletal, neurological, and other physical problems.
  • Support and encourage multidisciplinary coordination of treatment, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Implement effective communication with colleagues, medical staff, and patients to ensure coordinated efforts and optimal patient care.
  • Develop and maintain physical therapy treatment programs, facilitating patient recovery and attainment of maximum physical potential.
  • Educate patients on proper care and use of supports and exercise programs.
  • Perform or delegate patient treatment, including modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and hydrotherapy.
  • Follow documentation and reporting procedures, ensuring accurate and timely records.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care.
  • Participate in professional development, attending center meetings and outside educational seminars.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program, preferred.
  • Customarily a new graduate to at least five years of demonstrated experience in an orthopedic setting, with use of modalities, therapeutic exercises, and isokinetic equipment.
  • Ortho-outpatient experience, preferred.
