KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LEAD FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT:

  • Gather and evaluate financial data to prepare journal entries for general ledger accounts.
  • Examine financial data outlining assets, liabilities, and equity.
  • Develop new internal accounting policies and uphold existing ones.
  • Conduct variance analysis.
  • Oversee corporate inventory accounting performed by various business units.
  • Generate balance sheets, income statements, and other reports to summarize financial status.
  • Assist in the year-end financial audit and tax preparation with external auditors.
  • Provide necessary information for external financial reporting.
  • Assess current and projected financial positions of the company.
  • Report financial status to management.
  • Establish account tables and assign entries to appropriate accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE LEAD FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in Accounting.
  • Experience in public accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Demonstrated strong intellectual curiosity.

Compensation: $95K to $105K
