ABA Therapist Position at Hamaspik of Rockland County

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team in Rockland County, NY. As an ABA Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with a competitive estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of behavior intervention plans and data collection techniques. They will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized plans and monitor client progress.

Duties:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Bcba
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist with the development of treatment goals and strategies
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients
  • Teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors using evidence-based techniques
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate medical documentation

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Resume demonstrating relevant experience working with children with developmental disabilities
  • Certification as an RBT or BCaBA is a plus
