PRN Registered Nurse for Metro Float Pool

INTEGRIS Health, a leading not-for-profit healthcare organization, is excited to present an opportunity for a Registered Nurse in a PRN capacity within our Float Pool. This role is integral to our Children Psychology team, where you will play a vital part in supporting our dedicated caregivers and the broader community.
As a member of the RN Metro Float Pool, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering patient care through the nursing process. This position requires flexibility as you will be expected to float between various units and may need to participate in on-call duties. Adherence to National Patient Safety Goals is essential based on the level of patient interaction required.
Key responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and re-assessments of patients.
- Formulating and implementing comprehensive care plans.
- Executing appropriate interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of care interventions.
- Supervising and coordinating care delivery by licensed and non-licensed personnel.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to students and non-licensed staff.
- Maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment for patients and staff.
- Facilitating problem-solving and education for staff during assigned shifts.
Qualifications for this role include:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma or a multistate license from an eNLC member.
- A minimum of 2 years of patient care experience as an RN.
- Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification based on competency level or completion within 90 days of hire.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for operating a personal vehicle.
- Additional qualifications may be required for specialty areas such as Critical Care, Emergency Department, and others.
