Job Summary:Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, the Care Team Associate will perform routine tasks in patient care, including monitoring patient health status, implementing the plan of care, and carrying out physician and nursing orders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Monitor patient health status and implement the plan of care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders as directed.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and weight.
- Perform blood glucose monitoring and other laboratory tests as required.
- Administer tube feedings and other medications as directed.
- Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
- Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed.
- Keep patient rooms clean and orderly, making beds and replacing soiled linens.
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Completion of a health-related vocational education course or six months of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
