  • Shop Tools and Equipment: Operate and maintain shop tools and equipment, including hand power tools and shop equipment.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to multitask. Ability to comprehend and utilize blueprints, sketches, and technical manuals. Understanding of work processes and ability to measure, cut, and weld metal to required specifications.
  • Certifications and Credentials: RAPID Gate/DBIDS and TWIX credential eligible.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Open-air conditions, including noisy, hot, cold, and office-controlled environments. May require visits to projects aboard ships, rigs, and confined spaces.
  • Physical Demands: Standing on various surfaces, bending, crouching, and climbing up and over obstructions.
