Cedars-Sinai Health System Seeks Physician Leader for Supportive Care Medicine Program

Cedars-Sinai Health System, a leading academic medical center in Los Angeles, is seeking a talented physician leader to join our Supportive Care Medicine program. The successful candidate will lead the Oncology-based Supportive Care Medicine team and report to the Medical Director of Supportive Care Medicine and the Director of Cedars-Sinai Cancer's Patient and Family Support Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent patient care and lead the Oncology-based Supportive Care Medicine team
  • Assist with the management of an integrated care delivery model
  • Solidify practice guidelines and benchmarks for cancer care
  • Assist with providing faculty mentorship and clinical oversight of the oncology Supportive Care Medicine clinicians and physicians-in-training

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school
  • BC/BE in appropriate specialty/sub-specialty
  • Fellowship training and/or Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in Palliative Care
  • Must hold (or have applied for) a medical license in the State of California
  • Prior experience (and/or an aptitude for) managing and leading others

Pay Range: $263,001 - $345,020 total cash compensation.
