The Construction Project Manager will lead the overall budgeting, planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale hotel renovations. This role will coordinate between the general contractors, architect, interior designer, purchasing agent, owner, and all other project stakeholders to ensure a successful renovation project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects in various stages of design and renovation, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Oversee project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with quality, budget, and timeline goals.
  • Develop budgets for upcoming renovation and capital expense projects, utilizing historical data and current construction trends.
  • Coordinate with design professionals to ensure accurate and detailed project documentation, including reviewing construction documents for completeness.
  • Prepare and review all scopes of work, construction documents, ADA surveys, PIPs, brand renovation requirements, and bid packages.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
  • Monitor the activities of all architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Ensure that projects are constructed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and local building codes.
  • Regularly communicate project updates and promptly address concerns.
  • Review and approve all payment requisitions and supporting documentation.
  • Manage the final punch lists to ensure projects are 100% complete and provide as-built documentation and product information at close of job.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience managing renovations of hotels or similar industries (i.e., multi-family, student housing, etc.).
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree or commensurate experience in a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of national hotel brands' product positioning requirements and future brand standard strategies.
  • Strong demonstrated track record of utilizing enterprise-wide software solutions for project management.
  • Self-motivated individuals with a proactive approach to the role.
  • Proven track record in CAPEX project scope implementation and familiarity with Marriott's LOBO and Hilton's ProjectHub.
  • Ability to provide insight into the vendor market and contractor/contracting trends in the hospitality field.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
