Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Concentra as an Occupational Medicine Specialist. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results to provide accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in the provision of continuity of care.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice and quality of occupational health care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation of results and paperwork.
  • Manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a busy environment to deliver quality care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university.
  • Board Certification.
  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine.
  • FMCSA NRCME certification required prior to start date.
  • DEA certification required prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
  • Concentra Core Competencies of Service Mentality, Attention to Detail, Sense of Urgency, Initiative, and Flexibility.
  • Ability to make decisions or solve problems using logic and propose quality solutions.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to deal with people in a tactful and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements and clinical operations.
