This role reports to the Operations Supervisor and involves managing damages, cleanouts, and general upkeep within the warehouse or as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that selecting aisles are organized, and products are positioned correctly
Maintain a clean floor free of debris that could obstruct the selecting process.
Adapt to various warehouse environments with changing temperatures, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas.
Adhere to sanitation protocols to meet company policies and food safety standards.
Clean out company trailers; remove empty pallets/crates, and sweep or wash out as necessary.
Operate electric material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse while cleaning product slots and trailers.
Wash the floor as required.
Ensure the scrubber is maintained and cleaned at the end of each shift.
Provide necessary equipment for the selecting process, such as cardboard separators and pallets.
Power wash trash receptacles and plastic pallets.
Maintain cleanliness in break rooms and office trash receptacles.
Qualifications:
Willingness to learn and grow
Ability to work independently
Flexibility in scheduling
Capability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift throughout the entire shift
