Job Summary

A successful Telecom Construction Supervisor will oversee one or more aerial and/or underground telecommunication construction crews, ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate installation, maintenance, and/or repair of customer telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop employees in an assigned area, department, or project
  • Review tasks and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Implement and maintain processes to support task completion
  • Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to facilitate project success
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in a related field or 3 years of related work experience
  • Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience
  • Project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to sit for long periods, using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer-related tasks and/or other office functions. Work is performed both inside and outside in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation, and in rugged terrain such as back easements, rural locations, and at active construction sites.
