Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and advocating for patients' physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Implement Patient Care - Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team - Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Monitor and Document Patient Condition - Continuously monitor patients' condition, documenting and communicating changes to the care team.
  • Provide Education and Support - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Advocate for Patients - Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) - required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Handle with Care.
  • License: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
