We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician to join our team at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. As a CVOR Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of cardiovascular surgeries.
Certification and Licensure- BLS and ACLS certifications are required, with PALS certification also necessary for specific units.
- NBSTSA certification is mandatory.
- State license verification is required.
- This is a 3x12 hours shift position with a requirement for call rotation with department staff.
- Weekend call is 24 hours.
- Required work setting experience: CVOR.
- Required experience: Aortic aneurysm repair, Angioplasty/stenting, Atrial septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, CABG, EVAR, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, TAVR, VAD.
- One year of prior CVOR Tech experience is required.
- BLS and NBSTSA certifications are required.
- First-time travelers are not accepted, but candidates with 2+ years of straight CVOR experience may be considered.
- Scrubs are provided.
- 3x12 hours shifts.
- Call rotation is required.
- I9 or attestation is required.
- A copy of a valid government-issued Photo ID is required by the contract.
