Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Holiday Station Stores - Workday. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions, and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
  • Perform multi-function operations of fuel consoles, lottery machines, and other equipment as needed.
  • Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order.
  • Complete build-to's for ordering and purchasing merchandise.
  • Control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses.
  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and bend at the waist with some twisting.
  • Ability to work with equipment, tools, and materials listed below.
Working Conditions

The Retail Sales Associate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to customers, cash handling, and physical activity. The ability to work in extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer is also required.
