Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at YAI/NIPD Network. As a key member of our residential system, you will be responsible for providing oversight and training to direct care staff in the monitoring of medical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a group home with up to 8 medically frail individuals with disabilities
  • Provide ongoing clinical supervision to all nurses within the region
  • Organize and provide clinical training in regional meetings
  • Serve as a resource to department members and agency staff by providing information as needed
  • Select, orient, train, counsel, discipline, and direct all nursing staff in collaboration with supervisors in the region
  • Participate in regional and department committees requiring clinical skills
  • Provide direct assistance in providing clinical coverage as requested by the Nursing coordinator
  • Take a leadership role in setting up new nurses' orientation schedules, training, and supervision
  • Organize agenda and run regional meetings
Requirements
  • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Full-time flexible day/evening hours
  • In good standing for a minimum of two years or prior administrative experience
  • Maintain excellence in yearly evaluations
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Med/Surg experience
  • Experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled population
  • Nursing homes, rehabs, or chronic/geriatric care experience
Compensation and Schedule

* $85,000.00; based upon education and experience

M-F, 10a-6p
