Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse LVN Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse.

Job Summary

The Private Duty Nurse will provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and providing medical care as needed. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and update the nursing care plan in collaboration with the patient's physician and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Assess patient needs and develop a plan of care to meet those needs.
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One year of experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
