Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Management Lead to be responsible for the overall success of our projects. This key role will oversee the day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and their sub-contractors, ensuring high-quality work meets the approved project schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct the daily activities of trade contractors and their sub-contractors to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and communicate work plans regarding changes made in the field.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to anticipate potential problems.
  • Obtain or verify necessary permits for construction purposes.
  • Establish credibility among owners, trade contractors, unions, etc., by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environment.
  • Verify safety compliance with all trades and enforce quality control policies.
RequirementsExperience/Education:
  • BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 7-10 years experience on $15 million or larger complex commercial/industrial jobs in a superintendent role.
  • Experience with active environments, heavy environments, clean rooms, data center, mission critical, life sciences, and/or advanced electronics building construction.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Procore, Primavera Scheduling, CMIC preferred.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $132,400 - $182,000, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package, including competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
