Overview of Norman Regional Health System:
We offer a unique work environment with 24 operating rooms, state-of-the-art technology, and a wide range of surgical services including cardiac, urology, general, neuro, GYN, orthopedics, ENT, and vascular access. Our team is dedicated to providing professional and dedicated care to our patients.
Salary:
We offer competitive pay ranging from $19.56 to $31.94 per hour, depending on previous work experience. Additionally, we provide evening, night, and weekend differentials, as well as a sign-on bonus paid over one year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, free parking, cafeteria discounts, employee assistance program, and scholarship opportunities.
Job Description:
The Surgical Technologist I position involves maintaining a sterile environment and assisting physicians during procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate teamwork, and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or five consecutive years of training/experience as a surgical tech
- National certification in surgical technology is highly preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Oklahoma LPN license required if applicable
