Job Title: Atlas Construction Superintendent

Atlas Construction Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage all on-site activities, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Work closely with project teams, including project managers, engineers, foremen, and laborers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure site safety and compliance with company safety policies.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Develop and implement temporary facilities and work plans for projects.
  • Review and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data.
  • Generate RFIs and review submittals for compliance with project documents.
  • Manage quality control programs and conduct preconstruction planning.
  • Conduct on-site project meetings and manage subcontractors.
  • Supervise and mentor field personnel, including performance evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or related field.
  • At least 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • At least 10 years of construction experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may be conducted in all types of weather conditions.
  • Requires the use of protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves.
  • May be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments.
  • May be required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
