Position Overview:

Monster Tree Service is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead our operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our tree care services while maintaining our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations, optimizing the efficiency of crews, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide training and support to field teams in alignment with industry standards.
  • Track crew performance to ensure productivity goals are achieved.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of fleet and equipment.
  • Enforce safety standards and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Arborist to establish daily work schedules for field staff.
  • Assist in sales estimates as needed.
  • Supervise the hiring process and management of field personnel.
  • Coordinate training programs to ensure all field staff are properly certified and trained.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred degree in Business Management, Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
  • CTSP and/or ISA Certification is a plus.
  • Experience in management within the tree care sector is preferred.
  • Strong logistical skills and experience in business operations, ideally in tree care or landscaping.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with prior experience in employee training.
  • Proven leadership skills with the capacity to effectively engage with employees, clients, and management.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
