Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled laboratory specialist to support our client, a leading global pharmaceutical organization.
Employment Type: Contract (with potential for extension or conversion)
Location: Millsboro, DE
Compensation: $24.92/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute advanced laboratory protocols independently, performing tests on veterinary biological products in accordance with established standards.
- Consistently follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct laboratory analyses utilizing aseptic techniques while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Document and verify test results in the Quality Control tracking system, maintaining precise records.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas, set up and operate laboratory equipment, and manage hazardous and infectious materials responsibly.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of laboratory experience; a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is preferred.
- Expertise in analytical instrumentation, microscopic examination, and biological testing methods.
- Proficient in aseptic techniques and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and effective communication.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in diverse environmental conditions; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
