Job Summary
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center seeks a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform and assist with radiographic, DEXA exams, fluoroscopic, and angiographic procedures. The ideal candidate will have a degree or program for certification or licensure, Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification, and current ARRT radiology certification or willingness to acquire it within 12 months of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with radiographic, DEXA exams, fluoroscopic, and angiographic procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and maintain strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification
- Current ARRT radiology certification or willingness to acquire it within 12 months of employment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
