Role Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Pastry Cook to enhance our baking team. The perfect candidate will possess a positive demeanor, a passion for the culinary arts, and relevant experience or training in this specialty. Key responsibilities will encompass the preparation and baking of pastries and desserts in accordance with established recipes, ensuring consistency in presentation and decoration, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

  • Prepare and bake pastries as per established recipes

  • Adhere to plating and portioning standards
  • Manage ingredient inventory
  • Properly label and store ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen setting
  • Proficiency in pastry-making
  • Familiarity with Italian cuisine is advantageous
  • High school diploma required; culinary arts degree preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Food Safety Certification
