Position Overview: Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a highly experienced SAP S4HANA FICO Consultant. This role involves engaging with clients in North America, focusing on both proactive and reactive business opportunities, including managed services and transformation initiatives. The consultant will collaborate closely with onsite sales and delivery teams, participating in solution discussions and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to operational procedures and manage production support tickets for FICO and GR modules within established service level agreements.
  • Address and escalate complex SAP-related support requests to the appropriate resources.
  • Analyze support issues within the relevant functional area and evaluate options for effective solutions.
  • Gather requirements, identify gaps, and design appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the following areas:
    • Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and COPA.
    • Experience with New GL and Document Split functionality.
    • Automatic Payments utilizing DMEE, XML, and iDocs.
    • Revenue Recognition and Taxation on sales and purchases.
    • Familiarity with third-party taxation tools.
    • Knowledge of Intercompany processes and Bank communication.
    • Integration with Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and Project Systems modules.
    • Experience with IDocs and local GAAP reporting.
    • Multi-currency management and period-end closing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in SAP FICO, including comprehensive project implementations.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA FICO.
  • Proficient in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, New GL, Asset Accounting, and COPA.
  • Experience managing teams and projects effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in technology environments.
  • Background in Asset Accounting Management and Financial Supply Chain Management.
  • Familiarity with complex IT landscapes.
  • Ability to debug ABAP code and knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
  • SAP certification in FICO is a plus.
