Critical Care Nurse - Nights

At ScionHealth, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill, and medically complex patients. Your expertise will be essential in providing planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Your ability to communicate changes in patient clinical conditions with physicians, nursing supervisors/managers, and co-workers will be crucial. You will participate in discharge planning processes and ensure that patients receive the best possible care. To be successful in this role, you will need to have graduated from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing as a Registered Nurse or Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. You will also need to have current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and BCLS certification. ACLS certification is preferred. A minimum of six months of experience as a Registered Nurse with Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
