Caregiver and Advocate

Job Description

As a Direct Support Professional at Friendship Community Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Provide assistance with daily living skills, including personal care and household chores.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless care coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. The noise level is moderate, and you must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods.
