Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN to join our team at Greenbriar Limited. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required, maintaining accurate records and communicating with staff.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents, evaluating their physical and emotional status, and documenting findings.
  • Direct Nursing/Resident Care Assistants in their responsibilities, reporting concerns to the Resident Care Coordinator.
  • Administer medication, document administration, and ensure accurate transcription of physician orders.
  • Complete assessments on assigned residents, reporting their condition and shift occurrences to oncoming staff.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and nursing staff regarding resident care and condition.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN in the State of Alabama.
  • One year of experience in a healthcare facility, with CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to move about intermittently, reach, bend, and/or stoop, and push/pull a minimum of 100 pounds.
  • Capacity to walk/stand 75% of the day, cope with mental and emotional stress, and utilize prosthetics if necessary.
