Job DescriptionAs a Registered Nurse with All Ways Caring HomeCare, your primary responsibility will be to provide direct and indirect care to clients in their home environment. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care and support possible.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care and treatment to clients as per physician orders and plan of care
- Accurately document nursing actions, client health status, and communicate with family members and physicians
- Document progress and outcomes for established goals and inform physicians, case managers, and families of changes in client medical condition and needs
- Administer medications and manage medication as needed
- Provide health teaching to clients and assist them in learning appropriate self-care techniques and safety measures
- Conduct nursing assessment visits as needed
- Report all incidents per operational procedure and regulatory standards
- Follow policies and procedures according to operational, state, and regulatory standards
- Use safe body mechanics to prevent personal injury to yourself or clients
- Maintain confidentiality of patient-related information and honor patient rights
Salary Range: $35.00 per hour
Qualifications:
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
- One or more years of nursing experience preferred
- Home Health Care experience preferred
- Experience in administering medications
- Current and unrestricted registration and license in the state of operation
- CPR professional certification
- General knowledge of computers and ability to learn industry-specific software and documentation applications
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
- Capable of working responsibly with highly confidential information
- Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment
- Ability to develop critical thinking skills, research situations, solve complex problems, and deal with various issues
