We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Paramedic to join our team at Mission Health. As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pre-hospital and interfacility advanced life support to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and triage patients in emergency situations, utilizing established standards and guidelines.
- Provide advanced life support, including medication administration, airway management, and cardiac arrest care.
- Transport patients safely and efficiently, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with emergency medical services (EMS) teams, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in North Carolina and South Carolina.
- Paramedic Certificate from an accredited college or Associate's degree in EMS.
- Minimum 2 years of full-time critical care experience at the Critical Care Paramedic level in a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service.
- National Registry Paramedic certification.
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and advanced provider ITLS or PHTLS certifications.
- CCEMT-P, CCP-C, or FP-C certification preferred.
- Valid Class C NC driver's license and 21 years of age to meet Mission Health insurance guidelines.
- FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800 certifications.
- Ability to attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings.
- College education (or equivalent); bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of full-time critical care experience at the Critical Care Paramedic level in a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service.
