We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Emergency Department team at University Hospitals. As a LPN, you will provide safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families, utilizing the nursing process to assist them in achieving optimal health status.
Key Responsibilities- Function in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio Board of Nursing
- Complete and submit required documentation
- Deliver effective relationship-based nursing care
- Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes
- Develop self and contribute to the professional practice of nursing
- Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes
- Completion of an accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required during nursing orientation
This is a full-time, night shift position, 7pm-7am. The successful candidate will be required to stand frequently, walk frequently, and lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds frequently.
