The Banquet Houseman position at Palmetto Bluff Investments LLC is a key role that requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and retrieving products and equipment property-wide, maintaining a working inventory of event-related equipment, and ensuring that all work locations are clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities- Event Support: Set up and break down events, including delivery of equipment and banquet items such as tables, chairs, bars, grills, and umbrellas.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and help with reporting.
- Facilities Maintenance: Ensure all work locations are clean and organized.
- Logistics: Deliver farm produce to all restaurants as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all equipment and related supplies in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- License: Must have a valid driver's license.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to operate forklifts in a safe manner, bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks, and stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.
- Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
