We are currently on the lookout for skilled candidates for our Heavy Equipment Sales Support Coordinator role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the prompt and precise delivery and collection of equipment by collaborating with the Service Department and transporters.
  • Inspect machines for damage, coordinate with the Service Department for follow-up, and evaluate the necessary repairs to meet departmental financial objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the Service Support Team, providing constructive and timely performance feedback.
  • Manage the checkout process, conduct physical inventory counts, and perform audits to reduce inventory loss.
  • Direct all daily operations of the Heavy Equipment Sales yard.
  • Evaluate and oversee the execution of fleet maintenance requirements in line with departmental profit and customer goals.
  • Address product and service issues by investigating situations, identifying alternative solutions to meet customer needs, and proposing recommendations.
  • Assist with the composition, mix, and pricing of the company's Machinery Rental fleet.
  • Order equipment for the Rental fleet and customer purchases.
  • Evaluate vendors to ensure compliance with company and customer standards for products and services.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders and transporters to guarantee timely delivery of machines and strategize alternatives in case of delays.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by building rapport with clients and others who can assist in fulfilling customer needs.
  • Create and process customer sales and rental billings.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving related results as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in the construction or heavy equipment industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach and effective communication abilities.
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated.
  • Organizational skills and planning capabilities.
  • Aptitude for setting and achieving goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred: College Degree.
  • Required: PC skills.
  • Valid California Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent walking and movement, including stairs.
  • Manual handling of equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Reaching in various directions.
  • Bending and stooping as necessary.
  • Standing for extended periods as required.
  • Vision for reading screens and documents.
  • Effective communication in person and via telecommunications.
  • Sitting for prolonged periods at a desk.
  • Climbing on and off heavy machinery.
