Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our construction projects from inception through to successful completion. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project kickoff, subcontractor management, scheduling, procurement, change management, financial oversight, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure seamless transition from estimating phase.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, scope reviews, and document processing.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and coordinate timely deliveries.
  • Handle change management processes, including RFIs and Change Orders.
  • Monitor project finances, review invoices, and allocate costs accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with building permits, inspections, and project specifications.
  • Facilitate project close-out, including punch lists, warranties, and documentation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and participate in lessons learned sessions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing project teams effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels.
