Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement production plans and schedules to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor production team members, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes, conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards to ensure a safe working environment and minimize risks.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, and implement Lean manufacturing and 5S practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and records, and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office software, familiar with ERP or SAP systems, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs, and occasional lifting of heavier items may be required.
