  • Completing Maintenance & Repairs: As a handyman professional, you will be responsible for completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects. The project length can range from two hours to two days.
  • Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers: You will communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.
  • Create Life-Long Customers: Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers. You will follow the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time.
Requirements for Success
  • Self-Management: You will need to self-manage as you will work alone often.

  • Technical Skills: You will need to have the necessary tools, including the ability to use technology.

Job Requirements
  • Location: You must live within the general Charlotte area.
  • Experience: You must have 8+ years' experience as a paid handyman.
  • Tools: You must own your own tools.
  • Insurance: You must be insurable for driving our vehicle.
  • Background Check: You must complete a background and driving record check.
  • Physical Demands: You must be able to lift 50 pounds independently and safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time.
  • Professional Appearance: You must maintain a professional appearance and keep the company-provided vehicle in good condition.
