Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pre-Service Registered Nurse to join our team at USA Health. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient pre-registration functions, verifying insurance benefits, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to resolve insurance certification and referral issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify insurance benefits and ensure accurate information is collected and entered into the HSIS system
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to resolve insurance certification and referral issues
  • Assist with the training of new employees and ongoing education and training of employees to ensure compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of certification process and authorization number information in the computer system
  • Assist with review of Revenue Cycle and development of policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting the minimum standards set by the state of Alabama
  • One year of professional nursing experience and licensure with the state of Alabama as a registered nurse
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
