About the Role:

As a Medical Screener and Phlebotomist at BioLife Plasma Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors. Your primary responsibilities will include screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records. You will also be responsible for coordinating donor compensation and identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring their safety and the safety of our team

• Screen new and repeat donors and take and record vital signs and finger stick results

• Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records

• Coordinate donor compensation and identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.

• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
