Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at ReMed, A Collage Rehabilitation Partner. As a key member of our Accounting Department, you will be responsible for supporting financial functions and reporting directly to the Controller/Accounting Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general accounting and analytical functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and cash transactions.
  • Prepare standard journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations in support of our monthly closings.
  • Download, verify, and report daily cash receipts and other banking activity.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure reconciling items are resolved timely.
  • Record and reconcile daily cash transactions and communicate to respective teams if appropriate documentation is missing.
  • Record T&E reports from the divisions and post for payroll to include in their bi-weekly reimbursement through payroll.
  • Record Fixed Asset entries and respective depreciation calculations within GP.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of related work experience in Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in Great Plains is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of Journal Entry structures, as well as overall/relational understanding of Financial Statements (BS as it relates to the P&L).
  • Ability to work independently, take direction, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
