Role Overview:
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) plays a pivotal role in establishing the clinical standards for delivering superior patient care across our clinical units. This position requires a commitment to excellence and a passion for community health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor clinical staff, serving as a role model and ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to refine and update the Policy and Procedure Manual for the medical unit.
  • Oversee compliance with Clinical Outcome Measures, conducting quarterly evaluations of clinician performance.
  • Facilitate the Peer Review Process, ensuring timely evaluations and feedback for all clinicians.
  • Direct the activities of nursing staff and patient care associates, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Participate in the Quality & Performance Committee, contributing to performance improvement initiatives and preparing reports for review.
  • Chair monthly unit meetings, communicating important updates regarding organizational priorities and Joint Commission standards.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals and competency evaluations for clinical staff under supervision.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a Community Health Center setting.
  • Administrative experience is advantageous.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
