- Direct supervision of daily operations, including staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence.
- Lead by example to achieve targets in safety, quality, service, cost, and production.
- Hold team members accountable for following established procedures and conduct standards.
- Enable team members to drive process improvements and ensure effective employee relations.
- Mentor Lead Operators and production team members.
- Balance quality, safety, morale, productivity, and cost to achieve positive results in all areas.
- Responsible for the effective training, qualification, proficiency, and overall performance management of employees.
- Build a team dedicated to excellence, with open communication and a voice for all team members.
- 5-8 years of supervisory experience in a lean manufacturing/production environment.
- At least an Associate degree is required.
- Experience overseeing daily operations, including staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence.
- Ability to meet KPIs, including scrap reduction, improved safety behaviors, increased labor retention, labor utilization, improved product quality, reduced downtime, TRIR, OSHA recordables, etc.
- Proven track record of leading, training, and coaching direct reports.
- Technical and mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent multitasking abilities with a focus on prioritization.
- Results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP experience, SAP is a plus.
- Night shift schedule with a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule.
