About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at Total Quality Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily shipment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of transportation modes, including full-truckload, less-than-truckload, and drayage.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including sales representatives, customers, and vendors.
- Manage and document all tasks related to assigned accounts, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring seamless execution.
- Resolve shipping issues with a high level of professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support billing and payment processing as needed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a logistics or transportation-related field.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and see tasks through completion, with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance record.
