We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, utilizing the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care that meets the patient's needs.
- Assess patient conditions and implement treatment changes as necessary, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in the operating room.
- Special training and/or experience in surgical procedures.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Current AHA PALS certification.
- Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
- Additional languages preferred.
