Service Writer

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Writer / Advisor to join our team at Joe Johnson Equipment USA. As a key member of our Service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring seamless communication with internal and external customers, and driving efficiency in our day-to-day operations.

• Customer Relations: Manage customer interactions, respond to inquiries, and provide timely updates to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work Order Management: Open and close work orders in accordance with internal procedures, ensuring accurate capture of billable items.
• Quote Preparation: Develop and prepare quotes for customers, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, prepare bi-weekly payroll reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Manager, factory representatives, and other departments to minimize customer downtime and ensure optimal efficiency.

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years in a Service Writer role or related administrative/customer service position.
• Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
