About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits to assess and develop individualized care plans for clients.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to evaluate client mobility, strength, and balance.
  • Develop and implement manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions to promote client independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities to promote healthy living.
Requirements
  • A current Maryland Physical Therapist license.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) are preferred.
