We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team at HDR. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical development of urban roadway design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on major transportation projects, including interstate and state highway systems.
  • Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance and support to project teams and clients.
  • Assume project management duties, interacting with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor medium to large staff of professionals and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in roadway engineering design, with a strong background in urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, and traffic management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license and demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and ability to work with various teams.
  • Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, and Microsoft Office applications.
