Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer Intern to join our team. As a CFO Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including data analysis, financial modeling, and business process improvement. You will be working closely with our experienced finance team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of financial models and forecasts
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business process improvements
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards
- Pursuing a master's degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, economics, finance, actuarial sciences, science, and engineering, or other similar quantitative discipline
- Up to 2 years of experience in information or data-related practices, including information governance, information management, information architecture, IT, analysis, and reporting
- Foundational experience in one or more dynamic scripted language (Python, R, etc.) and database query language (such as SQL, HQL, NoSQL, etc.) for performing statistical analyses and/or building and scoring AI/ML models
- Foundational knowledge of and experience with the concepts and technologies associated with classical supervised and unsupervised modeling
- Knowledge and/or awareness of business intelligence and data management platforms (Tableau, Business Objects, Snowflake, Hadoop, Netezza)
