Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Inspire Healthcare in a community hospital setting in southeast Idaho. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Care for medical patients in the Pediatric Unit, providing comprehensive and compassionate care to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Consult with pediatric patients in the emergency department and surgical patients, utilizing your expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Work a 7 on 7 off schedule, providing a healthy work-life balance and minimizing the impact of shift work on your personal life.
  • Consult on patients in the emergency department, collaborating with emergency medicine physicians to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Round in hospital, with call from home, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still being available to provide critical care when needed.
  • Opportunities to develop a sedation program, enhancing your skills and contributing to the growth of our hospital's services.
  • Collaborate with our sister program, located just 30 minutes away, to share knowledge and best practices, and to provide a comprehensive range of services to our patients.
  • Work in a 205-bed hospital, a Level II Trauma center, and a regional referral center, providing a challenging and rewarding work environment.
  • Be part of a team that includes a 2-Bed Pediatric ICU, a 6-bed Pediatric unit, and a 16-bed Level III Neonatal ICU, offering a range of opportunities to grow and develop your skills.

Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine - PREFERRED.
  • ID license or IMLC compact-eligible (or willing to obtain).
