Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to join our team at Portneuf Medical Center in southeast Idaho.

Job Description:

As a Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director, you will be responsible for leading our pediatric hospitalist team and providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role and be board certified in Pediatrics.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and be able to demonstrate their ability to lead a team and make sound decisions. They will also be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

The Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director will be responsible for:

  • Leading the pediatric hospitalist team and providing guidance and support to team members
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborating with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Providing education and training to team members on best practices and new developments in pediatric hospital medicine
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • Board certification in Pediatrics
  • Active ID license (or IMLC compact-eligible)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a leadership role
